Being a Canadian, I've visited almost every region of Canada with the exception of the Northwest Territories and the Yukon.
In the 90's, I travelled to James Bay where I shot a program for the Off the Map television program.

James Bay
Kate Harrison visits a local cultural centre where the traditional Cree way of life and language are taught. Join her as she does beadwork, traps for marten and beaver and winter camps in Northern Ontario near Hudson's Bay.
Kate watches George Jolly teach young Crees how to fish with a net under the ice.
Kate tries her luck at driving a dog team.

Kate joins a Cree language class.
George takes her to his mink and beaver traps and answers her concerns about trapping.
Kate travels by snowshoes to Hudson's Bay before heading back to James Bay.
